I'm reasonably sure that python-base actually does contain a number of binary files (/usr/bin/python, to name one). It seems like no-binary is now true in all packages.
Somebody please fix it, this flag was pretty useful for determining which python modules can be switched to noarch ;)
I think it was a bug in rpmlint 0.87,which is why I updated to 0.90. if it still happens, please file a bugreport at bugzilla.novell.com and assign it to me.
