Bug 426236 is affecting the GNOME team really badly - it has gotten to the point where we can't check out or commit packages anymore. This is a serious problem in light of the Beta 3 deadline.

We'd really appreciate some assistance from the autobuild team on this before friday. In the meantime, what's the preferred workaround? For employees to just submit using the internal autobuild, or branching and submitreq'ing directly to openSUSE:Factory?
I have written a small script that fixes it for me by removing the package and re-linking it to FACTORY: seife@stoetzler:~> cat bin/osc-fixpac #!/bin/sh PAC=$1 if [ ! -d "$PAC" ] ; then echo "dir $PAC does not exist -> not in FACTORY directory?" exit 1 fi if [ -d "${PAC}~" ]; then echo "backup dir ${PAC}~ already exists... exiting." exit 1 fi mv $PAC ${PAC}~ osc deletepac home:seife:Factory $PAC osc linkpac openSUSE:Factory $PAC home:seife:Factory osc up -- Stefan Seyfried R&D Team Mobile Devices | "Any ideas, John?"
