I would like to package http://roadfighter.jorito.net/ in OBS. The thing is the authors are not lawyers ( http://www.braingames.getput.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=678&PN=1 ). So, correct me: - If they have not extracted the media (graphics, sounds, music) from the original game, but have recreated them, Konami hasn't any copyright on them (specially since there isn't anything specific like a Mario or Sonic sprite, they are just "cars"). - They can put a disclaimer at the start of the game noting that the game is a remake of a previous Konami game. But they can't put Konami logos (not sure if them are the official Konami logos) since "Konami" probably is a trademark. So, if they put a LICENSE file stating they release the game like GPL, and they remove Konami logos I can host the package on the OBS without problems? About Konami logos.
