Hi everyone, I've managed to work around the problem By creating a symlink to libGL.o.1 and calling it libGL.o Quake2 now runs great and programs that I try to compile recognise OpenGL now. Thanks Jason
Hi everyone,
I've got a problem with my new SuSE 8.0 installation. the games that came with it, i.e. Tux Racer and Armagetron work perfectly but I cannot get any other software to recognise OpenGL.
Quake2 for instance complains that it cannot load libGL.so.1 But the file does exist on my system in the /usr/lib directory as a symlink to /usr/lib/GL/libGL.so.1.2.xf86_glx
Although /usr/lib does not appear to be in the path. Should this be in the path? if it should be then how come it's not? And how do I add it to the PATH?
Thanks
Jason
