Hello all I found a interesting information on this website : http://www.lingula.org.uk/laptop/aspire1500.html This is an AST Aspire laptop based on Athlon64 and chipset VIA. It has a card reader such as described (by the author of the website) : "Winbond 3-in-1 SD/MMC/MemoryStick interface This device is part of the same chip as the thermal monitoring system. It seems that this is connected via the ISA bus (yes, there is still an ISA bus lurking in a 64 bit PC) using an I2C interface. There are no drivers for Linux and I can't find anyone working on one either." An ISA bus in a 64 bits laptop !! => CONFIG_ISA to be set "Y" now :-) !!! So, a general question : as the new laptop have more and more card readers (SD, MMS, ...), is there a Linux driver for using them ?
