Also keinen Schritt weiter - so rennt mein freier Tag davon und geht fuer Linux-Gegoogle drauf :-(
Das kommt halt vor. Du musst auf jeden Fall rausbekommen, was das Modem für einen Chipsatz hat, dann solltest Du weiterkommen, ich sehe das allerdings aus diesen Zeilen noch nicht. Hast Du evtl. ein Dual-Boot-System? Evtl. zeigt ja Windows ein paar mehr Details über die Hardware.
Warst Du auf www.linmodems.org? Catastrophale Seite, laufend Server Error und tote Links, keine SDB fuer Notebooks, das ist wohl eher fuer "normale" PCs
