Hey. So it's been a fortnight or so. And I thought of a way to maybe
do it in a 'different' way.
Why not do a video? For example, we could try to animate the users
from all over the world to send us a video of themselves saying in
their native language 'Hi! I'm XY. I'm a Geeko, and proud of it!'. We
would then mash it up in a two/three minute video.
We could also have music for the background. How to get it? Create a
Jamendo channel and accept suubmissions! So openSUSE
musicians/producers would be in on it too! I believe the video would
gain quite a traction (look just what happened to the What does the
chameleon say video :P) And at the end, a nice banner inviting users
to try openSUSE out.
I do have a few questions though.
What should the technical requirements be? For the audio/video? And as
for the licenses, just need someone to put in what's appropriate.
Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi
I like the article, I think the order should be reversed, formus, opensuse-chat and connect, in order of their popularity. Maybe add a few pictures too.
Thanks a lot

Hey guys. So, I've been trying to include people from the userbase and trying to build a community feelgood through my articles for some time now. Now, here's an excerpt from my correspondence with our newest geeko gospel legionnaire, Lee.
"Now, I was also thinking (since i'm trying to include community spirit also (hence the article: https://news.opensuse.org/2014/07/04/join-the-geeko-community/)) about including members to cooperate, also through the social media, by starting a campaign of some sort, named 'geeko in the wild' or 'geeko in the jungle' or 'geeko and proud' or something like that, where people using openSUSE or if they see openSUSE somewhere in the wild, could post photos/comments on FB,Twitter, send them to our mail address or similar, and we could post them weekly on wednesdays or thursdays, or something like that. How do you like the idea?"
Now, what do you think about the idea?
