So I have 30 mins to present something. What possibly can I present openSUSE related that will be interested to the audience.
Also, if there something ready (presentation file), I prefer that, since it's exams period for me and on Monday I must take a huge test.
Thanks for your help. Green means go!!! Stathis --
My suggestion for that audience - what about something on how to create a brochure with open source tools? How to upload your images from your camera, edit them (most will need to know how to adjust brightness/contrast, crop and use a clone tool to erase a detail; mask an area and use blur to soften background, that type of thing). Use Inkscape to create a logo (easy to convert a raster image into vector) and then take them both into Scribus and create a document advertising their business or informing their clients. At the business I was working in, very few of the staff were able to use even simple editing and publishing tools, and the high cost of Adobe licenses meant that even for a quite large company (or perhaps because it was large and many licenses were needed) an open source photo editor proved very useful. (Photoscape for windows). cheers Helen -- IRC: helen_au helen.south@opensuse.org helensouth.com -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+owner@opensuse.org
