So the text isn´t ready yet, because I tried to install openSUSE 11.3 GNOME (Yes, I need GNOME because Fedora has this DE too and I want to compare in nearly equal environments) But I have some key words here: Fedora +- Nice installer, really easy and user-friendly, but in F13 it was really buggy (That a bug is in RHEL6 Beta, that´s okay, but in a stable product like F13.... no way :/ ) + cool wallpaper in F14 - It is really slow (512MB RAM) - The software-installation-tool isn´t really user friendly (just a quick and dirty test.) - KDE is _really_ slow openSUSE + Easy and logical installation (no bugs!) + Nice desktop (KDE) + OBS ++ SUSE Studio ++ Tumbleweed + You can buy a box (I have the 11.3 box) and spend money to the project you love (I hope SUSE/Novell get the 60€ from Linux-onlineshop.de allready....) - GNOME is really patched. The design and the panels aren´t like a standard GNOME installation (just my two cents) - The last 3 installation failed (openSUSE 11.4 M5 GNOME, openSUSE 11.4 M6 GNOME, openSUSE 11.3 GM GNOME) A little question: How many people of you are on/in Facebook? I´m searching people for my friendlist and it would be nice when I get some people of openSUSE :) so far, nice evening kdl -- Kim Leyendecker (kimleyendecker@hotmail.de) openSUSE Ambassador powered by openSUSE 11.3 KDE Kernel-desktop 2.6.34-12& using Tumbleweed This mail was composed under Linux Have you tried SUSE Studio?
