From
man dracut.conf 5 add_drivers+=" <kernel modules> " Specify a space-separated list of kernel modules to add to the initramfs. The kernel modules have to be specified without the ".ko" suffix. If you add any value add_drivers+="raid10" Verifying that the module exists find /lib/modules/ -type f -name '*raid10*.ko' /lib/modules/3.19.2-2.g6c3d33f-default/kernel/drivers/md/raid10.ko /lib/modules/3.19.2-2.g6c3d33f-xen/kernel/drivers/md/raid10.ko When you exec mkinitrd It reports lots of /usr/lib/dracut/dracut-functions.sh: line 1585: host_modules: bad array subscript errors. It appears you have to *lead* with a space - add_drivers+="raid10" + add_drivers+=" raid10" Now mkinitrd finishes with no errors.
