Hi I have a 3g modem from Option that will connect just fine ( using the right apn), but speed when using linux is appaling + i get something like 50 % package loss when pinging isp / google The modem connects in umts mode ( modem has colorcoded what tech its using) Speed/ping is fine when using it on a windows computer on same location so it shouldn't be a issue with the gsm/umts network. Anyone with a clue? (i'm aware this might be the wrong list, so feel free to tell me to go elsewhere.)
What kernel version is this? And it looks like this is the hso driver, right? You should ask on the netdev@vger.kernel.org mailing list about it. I don't know if the driver is actually tuned for speed or not yet. thanks, greg k-h -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+help@opensuse.org
