For 2 days now access to ftp.suse.com/pub/projects/kernel/kotd/HEAD is only possible using ftp protocol. Using http protocol doesn't work any more. Looks like the http server on that machine is down:
telnet ftp.suse.com 80 Trying 195.135.221.132... telnet: connect to address 195.135.221.132: Connection refused
Those from http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Kernel:/HEAD/ don't work for you? I'am sure, they would. I'am just using ftp.suse.com for traditional reasons Is there any reason to change ? Unless SUSE decides to shutdown that machine.
