These are from fresh installations of KDE3 using same Xorg and font configurations for both 13.1 and 13.2 installations on host with AMD Kaveri video: 13.1 http://fm.no-ip.com/SS/Suse/YaST/131/yast2-131-CCsoftwKDE3-144.jpg 13.2 http://fm.no-ip.com/SS/Suse/YaST/132/yast2-132-CCsoftwKDE3-144.jpg In KDE4 13.2 (different Intel video host) doesn't have the problem: http://fm.no-ip.com/SS/Suse/YaST/132/yast2-132-CCsoftwKDE4-144.jpg As those show, in 13.1 and KDE4 in 13.2 the fonts are appropriately similar to the environment, while the 13.2 KDE3 fonts and icons are inappropriately smaller, handicapping usability. I've not been able to locate any bug filed on point, open or closed, though https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=871079 and https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=793565 look like they could be related. For both 13.1 and 13.2, font= is 12 in ~.config/Trolltech.conf. /etc/X11/qtrc also has font = 12. In all, Xft.dpi is unset. Fonts except for taskbar in are set to 12 in both ~.kde/share/config/kdedrd and ~.kde4/share/config/kdedrd.
