Thanks! This solved part of the problem. By setting the width to 20 and above the icons are arranged in a single row. However, the icons themselves are not resized. Even if I set the width to 32 they simply get spaced wider apart but remain small. Do I need to set a parameter to allow rescaling? Another question: what is the location of the systray icons in my file system? I could try copying the larger icons from an older distribution. Thanks! Hi!
Is it possible to change the size of icons in the system tray on the far right of the panel in KDE3?
I noticed that in openSUSE 12.2 and above the icons in the system tray (in my case, kmix and klipper) are smaller than in openSUSE 11.3 and they are arranged in two rows instead of one. I attach here screenshots of the systray for opensuse 12.x and opensuse 11.3. Is there a way to change the size of the systray icons in 12.x such that it looks the same as in 11.x?
open file ~/.kde/share/config/systemtray_panelappletrc
and in section [System Tray]
add
systrayIconWidth=XX
where XX - the desired icon size. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+owner@opensuse.org
