There was a package k3b-codecs-1.0.5 in Packman. Not maintained anymore. Try to grab source from http://ftp.twaren.net/Linux/Packman/suse/11.1/src/k3b-1.0.5-1.pm.1.22.src .r pm and rebuild.
There is no need to rebuild. Just install it from current Packman: http://packman.inode.at/suse/11.4/Essentials/x86_64/k3b-codecs-2.0.2-8.pm.8 .5.x86_64.rpm
Oh sorry, this is for KDE4 version. Anyway, the package most likely does not require rebuild, just use the existing binary package:
ftp://ftp.pbone.net/mirror/ftp.sourceforge.net/pub/sourceforge/j/project/ja/janfla/Repository/x86_64/kde3-k3b-codecs-1.0.5-1.pm.2.27.x86_64.rpm
I already have k3b-codecs-2.0.2-8.pm.8.5 installed. The kicker is why isn't k3b seeing it? It provides: k3b-codecs - Full Multimedia Codec Support for k3b K3b is a CD burning application that supports Ogg Vorbis, MP3 audio files, DVD burning, CDDB, and much more. This package contains the support for MP3 and similar codecs. So it looks like a library name problem in the current k3b build? -- David C.
