Just porting over the "missing features" you talk of from KDE4 probably won't be easy though, I suppose... Good Luck.

Better still. I've submitted a bug report and spoken with the person that coded the folder. She is looking into it. She said the folder was not maintained for two years. And the KDE4 code was very messy so it took a lot of effort to rewrite the code. Hopefully, folder 2.0 will appear in Plasma 5.7x. Cheers!
