Just when we[1] finally got around to updating Tumbleweed to the latest KDE packages, it looks like the whole repo is broken with tons of "conflicts".
Please, send next time just an email to the people that are maintaining that particular repository, before this is being picked up by users in the wrong way. KDE:Current is in a good state and does NOT have any conflicts. I don't know where you got that idea from, but I guess you misinterpret something.
https://build.opensuse.org/project/monitor/KDE:Current was showing everything as "broken", so I could be forgiven for thinking that way :)
Any idea what happened? Any guess as to when it will be fixed?
During the update to 4.13.2, the packages were copied from KDE:Distro:Factory and still contained the link to openSUSE:Factory. This morning coolo accepted the 4.13.2 update also in Factory and due to this the link caused an issue with the existing packages and therefore the OBS packages got into a broken state. Simply removing the link to the package in Factory resolved the issue.
So please next time contact the KDE team directly instead of using this mailinglist for issues regarding moving a KDE update to TW
Isn't this list the way to contact the KDE team "directly"? What other way should I have done this? Now that things look like they are working, I'll continue on with the KDE tumbleweed update, thanks. greg k-h -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
