1) Include the desktop-data-openSUSE package into the Tumbleweed repository and bump the version to 13.2 (At this moment you could take the package from Factory)
Why doesn't KDE:Current need this package?
Because it is not having an uprev openSUSE-branding package (or that package at all, so it uses the one from 13.1 to resolve).
2) Keep the branding-openSUSE package at the correct version of 13.1 and only bump the versioning here with every real openSUSE update.
Bump the versioning where?
At the moment, keep the version of that package at 13.1, then bump it to 13.2 only after openSUSE-current rolls over.
I guess at this moment option 1 would be the easiest and fastest, but in the future it might be good to keep the branding packages at the original version.
Yes, I wanted to keep things branded the same, if at all possible.
So, how does KDE:Current not have this same problem when building for 13.1?
It happily uses the 13.1 branding package I would assume.
