Is there a reason you must have KDE in Tumbleweed? If not, you could simply drop it and advise people to use KDE:Current instead if they're so inclined (which then needs to be built against Tumbleweed in addition to the other targets).
Am I reading this wrong?
Yes, you clearly are misreading this, because the statement is clear
Don't you mean, "which then DOESN'T NEED to be built against Tumbleweed....."?
If you read it thoroughly, then you would have read that Achim is proposing to drop the KDE Packages from Tumbleweed itself and to let people use packages from KDE:Current. As that KDE:Current is only building for oS 12.3 and oS 13.1, a new build target should be added which is Tumbleweed. Maybe things are said differently down under, but Achim's message was correct. However GregKH already indicated that people that use Tumbleweed wants to have a single repository as that this is and was the goal behind Tumbleweed. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
