I put 12.3/KDE on a neighbor/friend's puter last spring. He managed to pick Evolution to replace SeaMonkey, which we had originally set him up to use for email, after SeaMonkey's profile disintegrated months later. His KDE systemsettings has Firefox as default browser. When he clicks an Evolution email web URL, it opens SeaMonkey mail instead of opening the URL in Firefox. Anyone know what's required to get Firefox to open when he clicks a link in Evolution? Does he need to find, install and use Gnome's systemsettings to make such a configuration work? Is there some gconf config file line item that would do it instead of adding more Gnome clutter to KDE's menus? -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive."
