Anyone else getting this? Fresh install of openSUSE 12.3 (x86_64) and I've updated to the KDE 4.11 Release repo. Going into the Default Desktop Settings, if I choose Slideshow wallpaper and add a custom folder (and/or ticking the System Wallpapers / My Downloaded Wallpapers boxes), then Apply/OK, the settings aren't stored next time. I've had a look at the plasma-desktop-appletsrc config file and compared the relevant section to my config from a previous 12.3 install with KDE 4.10 on another machine. I don't see any issues there, with the same paths specified, though there might be something more obscure in that extensive file to look at, or in another config file entirely. When I okay that dialog I do get a change of wallpaper. It cycles through some of the system defaults, but never uses any of my own. I've noticed other wallpaper types like Picture of the Day are flaky and it won't download from most of the sources. It doesn't look like there's even any network activity when I try. I could file a bug but maybe there's just a misconfiguration on my machine? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
