As you feel that strong about it, then why don't you provide and maintain a package chromium-stable, which is then based on the released snapshots. You can maintain it in network:chromium if you want so that it would be easy for people to download it (if they are interested). I find your statements quite insulting as that I did react on your request and put it to the opensuse-factory ML to see what other people wanted to have. The clear majority there asked to continue with providing snapshots. The issue with not showing images is clearly due to the issue with libjpeg8. It should be checked which version is installed and which version is provided by Factory. In most cased libjpeg8 needs to be downgraded in order to get a working system again.
