Hi,
I have for some time tried to setup the slideshow screensaver to my liking but I faild to do so.
On my laptop I would like to have the slideshow screensaver run indefinitely, if the power cord is connected. The thing is that the screen is turned of after some 15 minutes.
I have tried to change the power settings but I can't figure out how to not turn of the screen at all.
Set the setting to 9999 minutes or similar.

It seems that 360 is the maximum. But I have tried that before and the screen is turned of anyway.

Hm, OK, so it is although somewhere I WAS able to set a figure to greater than 360 - but no matter.
Have you tried the other settings like Activity Settings where you can set the computer to be a PC running on AC Power?
The time limits no doubt are contained somewhere in a config file and they are the default settings for the "normal" user who would blame openSUSE if the laptop drained its batteries if the owner had no idea on how to manage these settings. Someone may know in which config file these settings are hidden - I don't. Anything on the 'net about this if you do a search?

I have tried another account and that works as expected. So there's something wrong with the first account. I have tried various settings, also the Activity settings. I removed evrything with power in the filename from .kde4/share/config, but that didn't change anything. I haven't found anything on this on the net. But that's probably my fault.... /Anders -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
