I notice that kdelibs4 has support for upnp media streaming disabled. This done by a flag saying kdelibs4 is not gplv3 compatible, which blocks the herqq-devel (aka hupnp) dependency needed by KDE for upnp support. I assume this is referring to LGPLv3, the license of the herqq (hupnp) library that is disabled. Being unfamiliar with copyright law, I was wondering what is still preventing this and what could be done to rectify the situation.
upnp is available via minidlna with kdelibs4-4.8.1 https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?project=home:buschmann23&package=minidlna I am able to stream music/video to/from my computer and atrix android phone. I did not try files. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
