As far as I can tell there are currently 5 unstable packages in KDE:Extra, which apparently is only supposed to have stable packages: FreeCAD - has not had a stable release apparently plasmoid-translatoid - last stable release was december 1 2010, I don't know whether the stable version still builds polka - has not had a stable release (the version in KDE-extra is an alpha snapshot) smplayer - last stable release was February 2010, I don't know whether the stable version builds libzipios0 - last stable release was in 2001, very unlikely to still build (the version in KDE:Extra is a snapshot from 2007) Further, there is at least 1 package for which the stable version does not build on openSUSE 12.1: kphotoalbum. It has not had a stable release since Nov 2009, but is still getting plenty of updates in git (the git version builds fine on openSUSE 12.1). So we should probably clarify when, if ever, unstable packages should be in KDE:Extra. If it is never, then the above packages should probably be removed. If exceptions are allowed for which there is no working stable version but that are still actively developed, then we should probably include kphotoalbum in KDE:Extra. -Todd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
