Hello,
I am about to switch to Thunderbird, I am sick and tired of the KMail2/AKonadi issues.
But, I do not want to delete the Akonadi POP3 accounts, I may use KMail again at a later point. Can I somehow just disable email fetching in these Akonadi ressources? Or do I really need to delete them?
Dear Malte,
I am in the same position. The KMail2/Akonadi combination is not working properly for me and a switch to something that works would be nice. Looking into all the bug reports I have to assume that we are not alone in our frustration. I have been using KMail since suse version 6.2 and I am reluctant to change my email client.
I have to agree with you. I have started using SeaMonkey for mail since distribution lists work there. I have not had them working in kmail or kmail2 since early on in KDE 4.x stuff. Distribution groups just don't get updated in Kmail. Contacts them selves do. I tried all sugustions, reinstalled my whole 11.4 and 12.1MS5 and they still do not work. All resources appear to be working. -- Russ openSUSE 11.4(2.6.37.6-0.7-desktop)|KDE Platform Version 4.7.1 (4.7.1) "release 8"|Intel core2duo 2.5 MHZ,|8GB DDR3|GeForce 8400GS (NVIDIA-Linux- x86_64-280.13) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
