Well, I cannot really answer this as the text of your reply fell quite short of the edge of my monitor screen . But it did not word-wrap as a normal ASCII text message is expected to (at column ?69/70 or is that 72?).
now this is weird: i can't find a setting to wrap outgoing messages after 'n' characters; i'm pretty sure it used to be there. checked everywhere, incl. "config:about" and config. files under ~/.opera, but there's no such setting to be found. i'll look again after a while, in case my mind is playing tricks on me, and if i still can't find it, i'll have to take this to the opera forums (or whatever they have for this purpose). [skipping paragraph break here, to see how far this line will go on your screen.] i'm pretty attached to using opera mail for all my forums- and list-mail (NNTP & IMAP), otherwise i could use kmail or thunderbird, where i can specify exactly where to break lines. should this really be hard-coded in opera?
