thanks for the reply sorry to answer you off list but I didn't want to start a holy war.
Please do direct your replies to the list. My personal mailbox doesn't scale that well. Therefore I'm CC:ing the original list in this reply.
some people on some of this list are pretty thin skinned in the subject I said knetwork manager then I said I got it to work gnome meaning knetwork manger in gnome would not work in kde that's what I meant nothing else I tried and up grade kde to 4.5 from 4.4 something what ever suse ship with 11.3 and that trashed kde I know it bleeding edge so you bleed a little I redid kde that came with distro now network manager for kde works now go figure you must be a young fellow in order to take what I said as offensive remember it is bleeding edge so you bleed a little include you guys on the front line arrows get it ?
I'm having a bit of a hard time understanding your story, can you please try to rephrase it in a somewhat less confusing manner? I.e. what does "trashed KDE" mean, which versions are you *really* running (you can check using zypper, or the about dialog in some apps.) In short: please be specific, that vastly reduced the time we need to help out.
I know I've taken a few being an old fart my self you need to get a thicker skin
We need friendly people, not people with thicker skins. It's not those who are being offended that are wrong, but the offending people.
have a good day if you were trying to help thanks
