Hello, when the synaptiks package from KKFD is installed in my 11.2 system, and I start the touchpad configuration within the system-settings, the synaptiks-daemon crashes. This is shown in bko 226005 and http://bitbucket.org/lunar/synaptiks/issue/32 . The last link says that this is fixed within the KDE SVN. I think I have identified the corresponding revision. It is rev 1097582. In order to verify this, I have created a backport of this patch in my obs-project home:leineweb:branches:KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop I have no crashes anymore with this patch, but I'd like someone else to verify this patch before I create a submitreq to fix this in KKFD.
