I just would ask, if in KDE4 exists kappfinder? Would like to add an Application to the KMenü
I don't even know kappfinder. But you can edit the menu with kmenuedit. Isn't that what you want?
Yes. KMenuedit i know. But i've an Problem with it. If i create an new Element, and go to apply, i see an Popupbox who says me, that the System goes to updating. But after 5 Min. he is not ready. So i thought it is easier with kappfinder. So i think my only chance for me is to create an own *.desktop File. Where must i place it?
If you are thinking of KDE for opensuse 11.2 its pretty much worse as it keeps being like this for moire than some hours now and well doesnt stop. But I never had a problem with it in KDE on Opensuse 11.1 but it does take time to register all the apps in the list just normal. Maybe you can look at the code if there is a failure you might can debug.
