Hey!
I migrated my KDE3 KMail settings to KMail 1.11.1 (KDE 4.2.1 "release 104") by moving the corresponding files to ~/.kde4 and everything seems to work fine now.
However, if I press and hold the "Check Mail" icon, there is no drop-down list. The same holds true for the "Reply" and "Forward" icons. Can anyone confirm this problem?

Hello, I don't have this problem. When I upgraded from KDE 3 (openSUSE 10.3) to KDE4.2.1 (openSUSE 11.1) I didn't transfer any files, I just imported mailbox in (~/.kde/share/apps/kmail) into Kmail 1.11.1 in KDE4.2.1 Try undoing your changes and then recreate each Receiving account. Then see if your drop-down list for "Check Mail" is still empty. As for the Reply and Forward list, I have no idea. I would have thought those were not bound to your mailbox? Perhaps, after your undo your changes start up kmail and see if they are still empty. In case it makes a difference, I use kmail via kontact.
