After the last update the audio volume OSD doesn't work properly for me

But when I logout and re-login then the OSD is back to normal.
I'm little bit tired of having to re-login after every single boot.
Is there any permanent fix to this?
Any help is much appreciated.

We need more invofmzgion - (that's what happens if you type "information" with
your hands in the wrong place):

What KDE version?
- 3.5.7 (openSUSE 10.3 default + updates)
- 3.5.9 (KDE:KDE3 buildservice)
- 4.0.2 (KDE:KDE4:STABLE:* buildservice or 11.0 Factory/alpha)
- 4.0.66 (KDE:KDE4:UNSTABLE:* buildservice)

By OSD do you mean that the OSD doesn't respond to your keyboard's multimedia
keys (or other shortcuts)?
