Question 1: How do I create a *sub-folder* in: file:/home/andy/Documents/Christianity?
I was able to do so when I created a sub-folder named "Christianity" for the main folder called "Documents". But I forgot how I did it. (It's called senility).
Open a terminal window and type:
mkdir /home/andy/Documents/Christianity/
Question 2: I guess the suffix for a created document - whether it be created originally in OOo, or by copying a web zine site to OOo - is .swx.
It is my understanding that .swx documents can not be read in Microsoft Word (any version). If that is true, and I want to be able to email some of my created documents to other people who have Windows only, how can I create a document on Linux with an MS ",doc" suffix?
Open the document in OOo, and save it as "MS Office" document. You can select the file type in the "Save as" dialog. Hope that helps Mario
