For the ati Radeon 7500 you need to install the proprietory drivers from ati in order to enable 3D.
A wotd of warning. This isnt as straight forward as it seems! Or maybe it was just me :/ =========
No, you don't Jim. The radeon module is included in the kernel and using only sax2 to setup, will get you 3d quite nicely. I am not even sure that ATI has released their driver to work with the 2.6.x kernel yet? I haven't checked in a long time though, because it just hasn't been necessary to do so. The 7500 is well supported already, as are most all of the other radeon cards. The Xorg guys have done a lot of work since branching off and I believe ATI have been cooperating with them. regards, Lee -- --- KMail v1.7.2 --- SuSE Linux Pro v9.2 --- Registered Linux User #225206 "Don't let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game!"
