This should be easy to fix. Launch Kcontrol. Click on Desktop. Click
on Window Behavior. In the Focus Tag, there is a setting called, Click
raise active window. Make sure that this is selected. This should
make sure that if you click anywhere on a window and make it active,
it would be raised to front.

Hi,
I just upgraded my SuSE 9.0 to the new SUSE 9.2 with KDE 3.3
Everything works fine exept that that new Window Handling in the KDE 3.3 drives me mad. My Problem is simple.
In the former Version of KDE (includec with SUSE 9.0) window tiling (having multiple KDE windows overlapping each other) worked that way, that inactive windows were below the active window and could be made active by clicking on the Menu/Move Bar of that Window. Then that window became active and moved ON TOP of all other Windows (as you are used to it in M$ Windows).
With the new KDE (SuSE 9.2) it does not seem to work that way anymore.
Now a window can be active but still is below another non-active window. Or a non-active window still overlaps with an active window hiding the region of that active window. New Windows/Message Boxes are always opened below all other (and escpially the active) Window so you have to switch to the new window/message box.
I tried playing around with those new "Keep above/below Others" Buttons and Windows behavior settions. I cannot get it to work as I am used to it...
Please can anyone help ?
