I use SuSE 9.1 btw.
There was a lot of discussion about RealPlayer 10 on the list about, I think, a month ago, so have a look through the archives. As far as I can recall, the instructions say that nphelix.xpt has to be in the components directory, not plugins, for it to work with Mozilla - I'm not sure how this would tie in with Konqueror. Did you uninstall the old version of RealPlayer (if you had it)?
That is most certainly not the case. After RPM installation, the stock / SusE-supplied Mozilla (1.6.x) had both the RealPlayer 10 "nphelix" files in its plugins directory, so I manually replicated that in the 1.7.2 install that I actually use, and it worked fine (and didn't even require a restart of Mozilla to be found).
Well, that's what the instructions say to do for Mozilla. I use Firefox so I put nphelix.xpt in /opt/MozillaFirefox/lib/components and nphelix.so in /opt/MozillaFirefox/lib/plugins (both soft links to /opt/RealPlayer/mozilla). I do not have nphelix.xpt in the plugins directory. It works with no problems and I can't see that Mozilla itself would be different.
