Hi all,
I'm searching for an easy way to rip audio CD's and read that konqueror can do this, by simply typing audiocd:/ in the address bar.
With kde 3.1 I got an error message which I don't remember, but now, with kde 3.2 the mouse pointer changes to the clock and nothing more. I once waited long enough and there came a message "file not found" but that might be because I opened the drive when I realized that my system was under heavy load caused by konqueror.
My system is SuSE 8.1 with KDE 3.2, a CD-ROM and a CD-RW drive installed. There is no problem playing an audio CD with xmms, no matter which drive it is in.
What's wrong here?
Regards Mario Hopefully nothing - just put a cd in the rom drive, type audiocd:/ (and press Enter/Return or whatever) and it should read your cd as wav/ogg/mp3 files
