I had to figure this out a few days ago also. Red means that the version that is installed in *your* machine is a later version. -gabe Gabriel Roman CipherNET Team General Dynamics Decision Systems -----Original Message----- From: Bill Hogsett [mailto:bhogsett@wideopenwest.com] Sent: Wednesday, March 05, 2003 6:48 AM To: suse-kde@suse.com Subject: [suse-kde] Yast2 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I am confused. I am running 8.1 and KDE 3.1 and Yast2. My question is when I see a file highlighted in red on Yast2 I see that the installed version has a higher version number than the available version. Is the installed version, the version on my machine or on the server to which Yast2 has attached? I thought I had read somewhere that the color blue meant a new version was available, but the words confuse me. Installed where? Thanks!
