Yep, Keramik is a style set and as you said in the post: "Now if you look in /opt/kde/share/icons/crystal ( this is where Keramik is located)" So, what I do is select the crystal set for the icons. Actually I have mix sets because I have set stuff like th HD icons to suit my tastes. Marcels suggestion to go to www.kde-look.org and get various sets that you find attractive/useful. Also you can move them to you ~/home/<user-name> .kde/share/icons as I have done as well. HTH,Cheers. Curtis. On Monday 27 January 2003 14:02, Bill Wisse wrote:
Here is what I did .
Controlcenter>>Style>>Keramik.
The thing what changed was the windowbar colour and some buttons, scrollbar. So far so good. Now if you look in /opt/kde/share/icons/crystal ( this is where Keramik is located) and click on one of the .........png. , you get a show of all different icons ( part of the keramik program as far as I can see) but they are not showing up .
Btw I send a reply to the list on Sunday 10.58 am and it only showed up on mondaymorning 8.00 am. ( all local time).
I'm not sure if I can keep in contact ( for now) because there is a tropical cyclone coming our way.

Hi Bill!
I don't exactly know what you are talking about. keramik is a style, not an icon set. Keramik will bring you new buttons, new checkboxes, etc and it comes with a new window decoration.
Would you tell us exactly what icons you think of?

There is NO option for keramik in Icons . Do I have to install something else? Just to make sure , I'm talking about the keramik supplied by SuSe, not the Mosfet one.

Hallo ihr da draußen,
Hi I want to use SuSE's keramik style and have clicked on >>Keramik>> in Control center>>Style. But all what changes is a bit of colour. When I look in the Keramik package and click on some of the descriptions I see all different sorts of icons. Did I miss something ? Using SuSE 8.1

You must change the select "Keramik" in "Icons" in the control center.
