When trying to upgrade with apt-get I receive the following.

Executing RPM (-e)... Executing RPM (-Uvh)... file /opt/kde3/share/applnk/Settings/Network/lanbrowser.desktop from install of kdebase3-3.1-51 conflicts with file from package kdenetwork3-3.0.4-6 E: Sub-process /bin/rpm returned an error code (20) linux:/home/dbtrol #
Could someone please tell me what I have done wrong and a fix for it. TIA David
Hi David, instead of using a paket-management originally used by another distro I would try the "normal" rpm-upgrade: rpm -Uvh libart_lgpl*rpm rpm -Fvh *rpm It seems as the apt-get for SuSE isn't installing the kde-packages in the right order. Daniel
