Hi, using Konqueror for copying files, CPU load and transfer rate is much higher than copying in the shell. The difference is considerable, like ~30% towards ~10% on a Duron 950. Even when copying from network with only 1 MB/s via FTP. Maybe it's the transfer progress dialog.
