I recently tried to use my mobile phone with kde and was surprised that I can't find the program kandy which is supposed to do exactly that. I have the kdepim-package installed but, plainly said, don't have kandy. Any advice on what I could do or does somebody know any alternative? I use KDE 3.0.3 on a SuSE 8.1 machine and a Siemens phone, by the way.
Do you have the directory /opt/kde3/share/doc/HTML/en/kandy? Obviously SuSE forgot the rest of kandy. Have a look here: http://www.suse.de/de/private/products/suse_linux/i386/packages_professional... Maybe the kdepim-package for 8.0 has it (but I don't know if that works either) Otherwise download from http://devel-home.kde.org/~kandy/ Chris
