Yes, but the SuSE 1.0.4 rpm is very, very broken. It doesn't show up in the systray on the KDE panel anymore and it randomly dies. I would just use the 1.0.3 pkg that comes on the CD's. I was going to send the pkg maintainer about this but I have yet to get in touch with him..I'm just to busy to send a bug report right now. * Robert (robbates@emerge.net.au) [020612 13:54]: ::Personally I would not bother with kicq as licq is far better and as for the ::ports implimentation have a look the apt4rpm project. you will find details ::of the base project here ::http://apt4rpm.sourceforge.net/ ::and suse specific ideas here ::http://linux01.gwdg.de/apt4rpm/ :: ::On Thursday 13 June 2002 03:35, Kim Dagerud wrote: ::> Hi! ::> I have recently installed SuSE 8.0 Personal and was going to install kicq! ::> And the first thing it said was that i needed icqlib, no problems i ::> thought, but now it needs "ld.so.1" what is this, where to find, how to ::> install?? ::> ::> And why doesnt SuSE have ports or something like it so it can fix ::> dependencies over the net?? ::> ::> Greetings ::> ::> //Kim :: :: ::-- ::To unsubscribe, email: suse-kde-unsubscribe@suse.com ::For additional commands, email: suse-kde-help@suse.com ::Please do not cross-post to suse-linux-e :: -=Ben --=====-----=====-- mailto:ben@whack.org --=====-- If it's true that our species is alone in the universe, then I'd have to say that the universe aimed rather low and settled for very little. -GC --=====-----=====--
