Hi Michal,
Hi danny, thanks for your mail.
I created a new Java:openjdk6:Factory[1] project in openSUSE Build Service[2]. This project contains the version of OpenJDK [3] which is
Why there? Wouldn't be
Java:openjdk6:openSUSE_11.0 or Java:openjdk6:Unstable:openSUSE_11.0
a better place?
The Java:openjdk6:Factory is the place, where is the java-1_6_0-openjdk package maintained. The term :Factory means that this version is going to openSUSE:Factory, not the packages are for Factory only. The packages are available for 11.0 too [1] and I will continue with support of older releases in this project. Currently the version in Java:openjdk6:Factory is newest, because we have a freeze on openSUSE:Factory. Maybe I would create a Java:openjdk6:UNSTABLE for that, but after 11.1 release, because I don't want to downgrade the openjdk in current project.
