I have a SuSE 6.1 installation on my laptop which I would like to keep (at least for a while longer). However checking the AVM website I found only software for SuSE 6.3 / 6.4 / 7.0. How much work would it be to make things work with the AVM PCMCIA ISDN CONTROLLER A1 V2.0 on a SuSE 6.1 (if at all possible)? The kernel I run is 2.2.5 (which is installed from the CD). It also does not seem to be recognized by the card mgr (v 3.0.9). It reports "unsupported card in socket 0". Do I have to configure additional lines in the /etc/pcmcia/config file? I hope I can avoid upgrading for a while. All info is welcome. TIA, Hans Feringa
