( Biosdevname is a udev helper
which can suggest chassis based names to network interfaces. Please
find latest version of biosdevname here -

Looks like biosdevname might need some work - I tried it on a system
with one embedded NIC and a 4-port PCI NIC - the suggestion for eth0
(the embedded NIC) was 'pci6p1'.

Hi, Would you please provide the output from following commands from
your system -
sudo /sbin/biosdevname -d sudo /usr/sbin/dmidecode sudo
/usr/sbin/biosdecode lspci -tv

Per, Thank you for testing and providing feedback on biosdevname.
I am not able to download the files from the posted links. Would you
post it on opensuse ftp, if it is possible or post the logs inline.

I don't have access to any opensuse ftp site (that I am aware of), but
I've opened bug#676025 for covering this. Better than posting
everything here.
