openSUSE Linux Leap 42.1, is based on SUSE Linux Enterprise (SLE) 12.
So, openSUSE Linux Leap 42.1, by default, already supports IPv6-only,
as well as the SUSE Linux Enterprise (SLE) 12.

#1: Douglas DeMaio (ddemaio) (2015-12-04 14:50:32) Using IPv6 During the Installation By default you can only
assign IPv4 network addresses to your machine. To enable IPv6 during
installation, enter one of the following parameters at the boot prompt:
ipv6=1 (accept IPv4 and IPv6) ipv6only=1 (accept IPv6 only).

Douglas DeMaio,
The link (

) You posted SLES 12 SP1 is broken, I found this link, more do not talk
about support, IPv6-only:
My suggestion is that you, or someone, which is part of the development
team, SUSE Linux or openSUSE Linux. Add, support for IPv6-only,
openSUSE Linux Leap 42.1, this Wikipedia page:

These are the settings, IPv6-only, this Wikipedia page: Claimed IPv6-
ready, Installed by Default, DHCPv6, ND RDNSS. This Wikipedia page is
very important because it serves as a reference to the IPv6-only
network deployment. Because if this Wikipedia page, is added, the Red
Hat Enterprise Linux and Fedora Linux, too, it should be added, SUSE
Linux Enterprise and openSUSE Linux. Thank you! Driva Linux.

Hi Driva Linux
if the ipv6only option doesn't work, it's better to open a bugreport
and pursue it that way.

#4: Per Jessen (pjessen) (2015-12-08 16:58:34)
Driva Linux,
fyi, I have tested ipv6only=1 today and it works very well, so why
don't you go ahead and amend that wikipedia page.

+ #5: Driva Linux (drivalinux) (2015-12-09 18:09:20)
+ Per Jessen,
+ I can not edit Wikipedia, and add: openSUSE Linux Leap 42.1 Without any
+ reference, either with the approval in IPv6 Ready Logo Program Approved
+ List - Phase-2:
+ ( Or by documentation
+ provided by the openSUSE Linux. And the ideal is that the openSUSE
+ Linux Leap 42.1, meets all the specifications, Wikipedia, for the
+ implementation of a network that supports IPv6-only: Claimed IPv6-
+ ready, Installed by Default, DHCPv6, ND RDNSS :
+ Thank you!
+ Driva Linux.
