Description:
This application will help user to stay more in touch with whatever is
going to the openSUSE community. *The start will begin with a simple
sign in(which will be a one time step) where we will have two options
either sign in with respective openSUSE account and option of signing
using the latest sign in with Google+(to keep it social too) *The app
will have two basic sections: News, Planet & Connect. The News section
will have the news from the openSUSE news and feature updates from the
open FATE network, whereas the Planet section will have the news from
the openSUSE planet. The connect section will allow them to make their
posts or feature requests directly from their phones, this will also
help them to get support from the openSUSE community and will bring
together a lot of people resulting in a good collaboration amongst all.
*All the items throughout the app will have a preview image if any
image is associated with that article and the headline of the article.
*Using the translator apis, we will have multi language support, where
user can change and view the content in their own language. *There is
going to be a manual refresh button and a option for auto refresh(in
settings) of all the content of the app to get the latest updates.
*Users will also have a option of bookmarking the items they are
interested in and they will also have comments block down below in each
item page. where they can have a discussion too. The user will also get
a option in their settings of running the app in offline mode (where
all the content is downloaded at certain points of time and user can
access the content without any internet usage) and the other option
would be to run the app in online mode (where no content is downloaded
on their phones, and everytime they try to access any item, they will
be required to use their internet).
