Feature changed by: Ulrich Windl (windl) Feature #318489, revision 2 Title: yast/network: Make "DHCP changes hostname" interface-specific openSUSE Distribution: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Important Requested by: Ulrich Windl (windl) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: Currently you can activate the option "DHCP may change hostname" (or very similar) in YaST's network options (eg. SLES11 SP3). This means if eth0 uses DHCP, the hostname ist set from eth0, but if eth1 also uses DHCP, the hostname will be set from eth1 then. You cannot configure - networking to set the hostname from one specific interfaces DHCP offer. - Therefore I suggest to make that option (set hostname from DHCP) - spacific to an interface. + networking to set the hostname from one specific interface's DHCP + offer. Therefore I suggest to make that option (set hostname from DHCP) + specific to an interface. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/318489
