Feature changed by: Ralph Bromley (MadmanRB) Feature #314708, revision 2 Title: Netflix-desktop for opensuse openFATE: Unconfirmed Priority Requester: Desirable Requested by: Ralph Bromley (madmanrb) Partner organization: openSUSE.org Description: Recently netflix has been cracked for linux, and its offered on competing distributions such as ubuntu, fuduntu and arch. But there is no native package for opensuse nor installing an RPM fix the issue as the only RPM based distro that has netfilix is fuduntru and its RPM does not seem to work under opensuse. packaging this and wine-compholio will be a solution, converting this from alien doesnt work and really compiling packages are a pain for new users. + Business case (Partner benefit): + openSUSE.org: Netflix is a very popular weebsite for movie but up until + now only worked with windows or mac. Now we have this workaround we can + do it but opensuse lacks the ability to utilize this. Installing + packages manually should not be the job of the end user, and needs to + be addressed by the wine development team. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/314708
